Where is the best place to buy Abayas in Dubai?

I may be traveling there in the next couple of months and I want to LOAD UP on some beautiful abayas. I am also a niqaabi. Do many Muslim women wear the niqaab there?

There are Arabic shops in every mall where abayas are sold.
City Centre, Mall of Emirates, Al Manar centre, Bur Juman Centre.. Everywhere. The price is quite high..

You better go to Sharjah as there are plenty of separate Arabic shops with abayas only. The price and choice is great there..

As well you can stitch abaya from any tailor, design which you want and size for you. They will do it in 2 days maximum.

Niqaab you can purchase in Heritage village for example as they sell old Arabic traditional staff

What kind of job should I take to travel all over the world?

I'm 15 years old freshman suppose to be a sophomore but I failed a year in 8th grade, but I have 10 credits right now and am working very hard to move back to my right grade next year, hopefully (cross my fingers)

I have heard International business travels everywhere, but I want to know If I happened to be an international business women, will I ever have a chance to talk business to rich and famous peoples? I'm not talking about celebrities, I'm talking about king of Dubai or something like that, because I want to know more about kingdoms and have a better chance in succeeding in businesses. (that's just my opinion, so please don't tell correct me)

Please tell me top 10 of the world's best colleges and universities.

Why are muslims more humble than christians?

I have never been in personal contact with any muslims until I traveled to Dubai, UAE and Ankara, Turkey. Most young women that I have met are very humble and modest. What I find most suprising is that most of them values their virginity highly until marriage. I thought chastity was forgotten in this day in age, especially when I am from the America, the country that happens to be predominantly Christian.

Chastity is a virtue that both Islam and Christianity profess to be a noble thing to preserve. However, it should be noted that the only reason why you see a greater predilection towards abstinence from sex until marriage in Muslim cultures, as opposed to Christian ones, is because there is a greater social stigma associated with premarital sex it in Muslim societies than in western societies.

Despite how secular Dubai, UAE, Ankara, and Turkish societies seem to be, the truth is that at the grassroots level, fundamentalist opinion still have strong influence over popular sentiments about conventional morality. The tendency for more Muslim women, in predominately Muslim countries, to preserve their virtue, has more to do with a fear of reprisal than any intrinsically greater sense of piety.

Back when village and town justice were prevalent in the United states – say 100 or more years ago – Christian women were also very chaste. Now as we see an ever increasing separation between Church and State, both men and women have diverged from traditional mores because they no longer fear public condemnation.

If you look at Muslim women in the United States, who are unorthodox, you will see many of them are just as promiscuous as secularized Christians and Jews. In short, whether a woman preserves her virginity has little to do with whether they subscribe to Christianity or Islam. Their chastity has more to do with how accepting their families and society are of sexual acts outside of marriage. Trust me, if women in this country feared honor killings or public disownment, you would see more women remaining true to their virginity until marriage.

Of course being induced by fear or public pressure to follow a certain set of precepts isn’t really being moral. True morality is not coerced, but adhered to out of one’s free will.

Ethiopian Marriage Requirments?

What are the detail requirements to marry ethiopian woman. I am a USA Citizen, dating a ethiopian women that live in Dubai, she will be returning home soon, and I would like to travel to ethiopia to marry her.
I am talking about the legal requirements not the personal requirements

1 - You'll need a legal document that states you are currently single, divorced or that you are widowed. (Contact the Ethiopian Embassy in DC to find out how and where to get it.)
2 - A current passport and/or ID
3 - A birth certificate
4 - 2 or 3 (not sure exactly) passport size photographs.
5 - 3 witnesses it can be anyone that is of legal age and has an ID card. (Your future spouse can arrange friends or relatives to be witnesses)
6 - Fees (again not sure but it is no more than 75 USD)
7 - A smile!
