Questions About Dubai Travel Weather

David asks…

Weather in dubai in april?

I am travelling to dubai in april and i would like to know what kind of weather to expect?

admin answers:

For a quick idea about the temperatures and rainfall for that time of year here are two websites to check:

Linda asks…

What is the weather like in Athens and Crete in the second half of September?

Average temperature/rainfall charts are not very helpful so I'd like to preferably hear from someone who lives there. T-shirts and jeans okay for the day, and cardigan/jumper in the evening?

I'm used to cold weather (living in England) but my family who are travelling with me are used to hot/humid weather (Dubai).

Thanks very much.

The weather is a big question at any time. This year we have for the first time in years, a very hot second half of August. Temperatures ranging over 30c C. And not rain for over 4 months now.

It should get a bit cooler but so far predictions are not fulfilled.

Anyway, if it follows the usual pattern it should be in the ranges of 25c to 30c C. It will be hot during the day and somewhat colder during the evenings and nights. The fact that it gets dark earlier in the evenings makes the nights longer and therefore your late outings should be cool to chilly. Take a sweater or cardigan with you and long trousers.

Your relatives should not have much of a problem with the exception of humidity that will be far less tan they are used to.

Susan asks…

has anyone one travelled to Dubai? if so tell me about this city?

what can i do for fun there? how is the weather? what is the tradition and custome thier?
plz tell me everything about this city?

admin answers:

It's a great place. Very hot though. There is so much water in the air that you could almost look at the sun without sunglasses. I hope you're going to see somebody, cause taxi drivers there are mostly Pakistanis or Indians and don't speak English at all. Apart from that in most cases you have to show them where you want to go - they don't know the city. I have been there about 3 years ago and there was no accurate map of Dubai drawn, luckily I could relay on my girlfriend, who used to live there.
When you will be there make sure you will go to Irish Village. Loads of whites have this place as a meeting point at night. There is also nice English Pub with great garden called Red Lion. Places worth to see: (sorry for miss-spelling) Jumeirah Beach and Buj-El-Arab - the only 7* hotel in the world as far as I know. Summer isn't the best time to go there - it will be incredibly hot.
Let me know how was it, when you're back.
Have a nice trip.

Would you believe they don't have "Shake's" in McDonalds?
Prohibited. Lol.

My dream town would be a town with little pollution. I hate pollution. The town would have a lot of nice flowers and trees to help people relax. In my dream town you cannot travel by car. You have to travel by horse and chariot. I think that would be really fun!!

My dream house would be a very big house in Dubai. I love Dubai because the weather is really hot there. My house would have 365 rooms, a room for each day of the year. Life would be really relaxing!!

My dream weekend would be a weekend with lots of things to do. I would go abroad in my dream weekend. I love going abroad especially somewhere hot.

My dream room would be extremely big. It would have lot of things to do. It would have a big restaurant and a big swimming pool. My bed would be made out of gold and the mirrors would be made from diamond.

thank you
:)

If you ever get to germany with that, you'll have to pay a fortune in taxes...;-)
