Mandy asks…
how many hours to travel from dubai to muscat, oman?
admin answers:
By car between 4 to 5 hours depending on stops and speed. (you have to stop at the border check at least). By air approx. 25~30 minutes. If you go by sea ferry / boat it takes half a day.
George asks…
Can we travel from Dubai to Oman(Muscat) by road by car which is under loan?
admin answers:
Yes, immigration at the border won't ask if your car is under loan or not. Unless you have not paid the car for a long time and they informed already the police that you're in hiding.
Richard asks…
I understand there is no SAPTCO bus to Muscat. Are there private bus operators from Riyadh to Muscat?
I wish to travel to Muscat with my family. Last time we travelled to Dubai by bus. I enquired with SAPTCO and understood that they do not have bus services to Muscat. Are there any private bus operators running between riyadh and muscat?
admin answers:
If you need a bus from Dubai to Muscat you need to find one in Dubai , SAPTCO is not concerned with that route, they are the operator for Saudi Arabia not to Oman.
You can get Oman bound buses from Dubai and Abu Dhabi on daily basis, in Dubai you will find several , but they leave from specific locations (ask travel agency), not from the Dubai RTA bus terminals.
William asks…
my friend is a UK citizen on holiday to Dubai, do you still need a visa to enter Oman coming from Dubai?
so in other words if you were to travel to Muscat for the day whilst staying a week in Dubai, would you still be required a visa?
admin answers:
Yes, you do require a Visa. Please check www.rop.gov.om

Yea. I had a full planned trip to Japan. Since that cancelled and now school starts its short and destinationless! :O
admin answers:
If you're family is planning to go to China. I think what's left is Shanghai and Beijing. But I think Taiwan is a great place though I haven't been there before but it's somewhat like Hong Kong. Tons of great food and cheap shopping! But I have to say Japan hands down best trip ever!!!! OMG ^^ but on the safe side i would save Japan till the next 4/5 years =]
