Do citizens of European Union need visa to travel to Dubai?

I am thinking about going for a short while to Dubai for vacation and I'm wondering if I need a vise to do that. I ahve the passport of the European Union. Many thanks in advance, every help is very apprechiated.

All others have to apply for a visa in advance through a travel agent, hotel or Emirates Airline.

Your EU passport just states that your country belongs to the EU and hasn't any effect on visa rules outside the EU.

Generally available on arrival, but why not find a UAE embassy web site. They will have a list of countries that need a special visa. However your travel agent or the airline may be able to help.

I went to UAE last year and on the way from Dubai to Abudabhi we saw a pair of Islands
One Starts with S and he other I don't know
Its artificially built in water
Need to know their name!!
